- Polyamide 66 is known for its flowability and quick crystallization. Poly Amides (PA66) based compounds, like Poly Amides (PA6) fall under the brand name ESTOPLAST –XU.
- PA66 has better hydrolytic stability when compared to PA6. Unlike the former, PA66 resins are most often used as a substitute for metals in the automotive industry. Owing to the fast-moulding cycle, PA66 is considered to be economically viable and is available in multiple colours too. However, both PA6 and PA66 can be used in E&E applications (with suitable flame retardants).
